　　I would have invited friends over to dinner evenif the carpet was strained and the sofa faded.
　　I would have taken the time to listen to mygrandfather ramble about his youth.
　　I would never have insisted the car windows berolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.
' y! v) S  V+ f) F/ a" O* q　　I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.
$ I+ {( v6 ?( H5 Z　　I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains.
　　I would have cried and laughed less while watching television - and more while watchinglife.
　　I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into aholding patter if I were not there for the day.
　　I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, would not show soil orwas guaranteed to last a life time.
- H' b( H4 i+ b% V: O/ `7 v　　There would have been more "I love yous" ... more "I'm sorrys"... but mostly, given anothershots at life, I would seize every minute... look at it and really see it...live it...and never give itback.

　　我会请朋友来家吃饭，即便地毯脏了，沙发褪色了。
' e7 y" N  N6 t5 X; Q　　我会抽时间听祖父絮叨他的青年时代
　　我不会因为刚刚把头发梳理定型而要求在夏天关上车窗。
　　我会点燃那支雕成玫瑰状的蜡烛，而不让它在尘封中熔化。
# i- W: Y) g1 _% h& `　　我会与孩子们坐在草地上，不去担心草地上的污渍。
　　我会把泪水和笑声更多地留给观察人生，而不是观看电视。
　　如果生病了，我会卧床休息，而不是自认没有我，地球就不转了。
